How can a parent Ebook helped me after my divorce
Have you ever bought an eBook before being parents? I can assure has never seen one like that before.
If you're reading this, then you have the desire to solve a problem you have with your child. Well, I'm not a therapist occupational physician, psychologist or other person with a college diploma 6 years. I'm just a regular guy from Pennsylvania, with a girl of 14 years. I want to share this story with you.
My wife and I divorced a few years ago and needed help to go through my daughter.I not know if I have been divorced, but may have devastating effects on their children. Anyway, need help. My daughter tells me no more. When she was with me all he did was to disobey the law and more. Problems were worse than that, but I will not go into details. Needless to say, this was not the girl who rose from the past 12 years. I soon discovered that the same problems had with her, my ex-wife was too. Even if they were not together anymore, we all love our daughter so much and have been in our final Whits what to do. Wanted helping effects become eternal.
In case you did not know this, occupational therapy can be very expensive. They left me no choice but to try to understand what can be done without professional help. I did what you are doing now, research on the net for all the advice I could get. I bought books and had no chance of getting through my child. I was very frustrated.
Then, while talking to a lady at my work in my frustrations about my daughter she mentioned this book and how he helped her with her children. I knew that if she had helped with their children there was no way in this world that I could book help. (His children were mere terrors of my daughter)
With this book, I learned to communicate better with my daughter. I've learned to deal with their emotions and learn ways to show I respect. I learned that what he most involved by asking questions open, allowing better communication. This book taught me to deal with their feelings. She, like many children, I felt like it was your fault that your mother and I separated. Being able to have a better line of communication with her, I finally understand him it was not his fault at all, and assure that the two ones.
She also went through a phase that is my fault or the fault of mothers who are separated. Was a very sensitive issue for me. There are several reasons for my divorce. I worked hard, which in turn, left my wife's lack of attention. Is asked to turn attention of another man. I could not tell my daughter it was all because of my wife, who was not. Even if it was he who broke the marriage vows, I was not there for her the way it is necessary for me to be. (This I've learned in therapy afterwords) Anyway, with the help of this book, which could easily explain that sometimes people are separately and even if you can still care for each other, can not continue the relationship. The conversation was so short, but if I had not read this book, I blame my wife and do with it. You can not do with children. There is a whole section in this book about divorce, and how to help your child with her. And it was nice to have the system offering support email as well.
Anyway In any case, it has been eight months since I bought this book and my daughter has returned to "normal" for a 14 year old. She still believes going on 30. If you know what I mean. The point is, now I have a better relationship with my daughter I had before my divorce. Speak everything (except children), and no more acting. Both his mother and I have a better relationship with her.
