Macros in Microsoft Excel using Visual Basic, Microsoft Access?
I want to learn Excel macros and online access. Anyone can recommend sites where I can get in the books, which can be downloaded for free. Any online tutorial will help.
Learn Excel macros on your own is easy. Save one through the interface (Tools -> Macro -> Record new macro) take any action (select one cell, change its color, whatever), then edit it to see what code was generated (Tools -> Macro -> Macros -> Edit button.) Microsoft opens the Visual Basic Editor. Help -> Microsoft Visual Basic is to open the Visual Basic manuals, including the foundations, concepts and language reference. To find out what objects and methods available Excel, place the cursor within the code a bit and click on View -> Object Browser. Access will be more difficult, because learning is not necessarily SQL easy.
