Outliers Book Review – Success Stories
Malcolm Gladwell capacity to take somewhat obscure patterns of everyday life and draw attention to them in language easy to understand is their real strength as a writer and really as a researcher.
The book Tipping Point (Time Warner Book Group, 2000.2002) Gladwell explains how ideas, trends or social activities become phenomena with only an invisible force he called the turning point. In Blink (Time Warner Book Group, 2005), explores how and why decisions are made in the blink of an eye.
With his new book, The Story of Success Outliers (Little Brown and Company, 2008), Gladwell has developed a theory to explain why some individuals are more effective than others. In his research has identified the trends in family history, dates of birth, place of birth, and culture contribute to the success of a person.
While in his first two books, made a series of relatively simple concepts and gave them shape and strength, as outliers, the book starts strong, but ultimately not all investigations seem to support his theories.
Social class made the difference on success
The name of the book is in the first paragraph. Gladwell wrote an outlier, "1: something that is far or classified differently a main body or related to the 2: a statistical observation that is markedly different from the value of the other in the sample.
He uses the rest of the book in detail how the models can be found by comparing the people in certain groups. Some reasons following:

A successful model Gladwell
While the premise This book is not so motivated by the search (I'm still not sure how the rice to be better at math) that Gladwell's previous books, a bit of research, such as the 10,000 to master a skill quite logical.
Gladwell stories is what makes the values ends is read.
